Job Description:
Zownder is looking for MMO gaming experts in any MMO game to write articles, blogs, and feature guides for our site. Currently, we have openings for several writers on the site, in just about any MMO game that you can think of.
But, here is the catch - you must actually play the game that you are writing about. Trust me, we will know if you don’t… we are looking for serious gaming experts here that know their chosen game inside and out, play it regularly, and have their finger on the pulse of the game. Our readers want to know that they are getting the best information and guides, not just copied information from other sites.
Just a few of the MMO games that we cover on Zownder include: World of Warcraft, Warhammer Online, Matrix, Lord of the Rings Online, Atlantica Online, World of Kung Fu, and many more. So, if you are a fan of any MMO game out there on the web today, and you want to share what you know with others - apply for a writing position at Zownder today.
We have several large contests, gaming CONs, and events coming up in 2009 for our gaming team, and we need experts to help build the site’s current article pool. So, you do need to know that your work will be seen by thousands of people a month, and even more during events.
How to apply:
To apply for a writing position, please do the following:
1. Send an email to zownder@gmail.com with the subject “Writing Position: Blogger/Articles/Guides/Features” (depending on which one you would like to apply for.
2. In your email, please tell us which MMO games you currently play and which you have played in the past.
3. List any sites or areas where you have published writing work - even if it’s not gaming related OR attach a writing sample so we can see your style and your work.
4. Here is the fun one: tell us why we should hire you as a gaming writer on Zownder. Convince us that you know your game and you are the right person for the job!
We will discuss writing payments with those that are qualified to write for us on the site.
