Job Description:

We are seeking a creative, highly motivated individual to be responsible for writing marketing copy, contributing to blogs dealing with financial services, and proofing marketing proposals. The ideal candidate will be both creative and analytic, with a strong interest in working with a marketing team to deliver ad copy that drives results.

Responsibilities:

• Write succinct text ads for search engines, banners, and other marketing assets

• Analyze reports to determine effectiveness of copy, and to generate new ideas

• Categorize, organize, and expand upon currently active ads

• Generate blog posts on a wide variety of subjects

• Contribute to and proofread marketing proposals and reports

• Create site content aimed at improving search engine rankings

• Work with Creative Services team in ad copy and landing page development

Qualifications:

• Proven writing ability (please attach writing samples)

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Word and Power Point

• Familiarity with MS Excel

• Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, English, Communications or related field

• Ability to work individually on a project or in a team environment

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Ability to manage details, efficient work habits, and overall flexibility

• Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility

• Ability to use Photoshop and Illustrator a plus
