Job Description:
HiPK, LLC is a veteran owned and operated small business with an opening for a technical writer to work with a growing team of instructional system design experts in insuring the quality of training material used in a joint military training environment. Key roles and responsibilities include:
• Edit, standardize, or make changes to training material.
• Ensure that training material is written clearly and meets accepted grammar rules.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
• Assist in entering training material into a content management system.
• Assist in laying out material for publication.
Important skills include:
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Eye for detail.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage time to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work with a variety of people and develop constructive and cooperative working relationships.
• Highly motivated individual who is willing to learn and grow.
Education requirements:
• A bachelor’s degree in technical writing, English, or Journalism.

Benefits include health insurance and 401K plan. Position is on Fort McPherson base in Atlanta, GA and is MARTA accessible. Candidates must be able to pass a government security clearance.
